Eilya Care Foundation was founded in 2015 by Mrs. Nadia Gillani and Mr. Kamran Raza with an unwavering belief in the power of inclusion to foster dignity and self-worth in every child. The foundation began with a singular mission: to polish these overlooked “gems” and help them shine brightly in a world that often dismisses them.
The journey of Eilya Care Foundation traces back to 1998, when Ms. Nadia, after completing her Master&apso;s from Punjab University, found herself driven by a deep compassion for individuals with special needs. After working for 14 years in the UK, her life took a major turn when her father suffered a debilitating stroke in 2011, losing his speech, sight, and mobility. This event gave Ms. Nadia new strength, inspiring her to return to Pakistan and make an impact where it was needed most.
One student, Turaab, suffering from Cerebral Palsy, was rejected by society and labeled “disabled.” But under Ms. Nadia&apso;s care, Turaab blossomed. His success became the cornerstone of Eilya Care Foundation, transforming her vision into a reality where every child, no matter their challenge, is given the tools to thrive.
Today, Eilya Care Foundation proudly serves 115 students, uniting over 28 types of special needs under one compassionate roof. Each child, like Turaab, is given the opportunity to not just survive, but to succeed, grow, and make a positive impact on the world around them.
“EILYA is our home; it is our sanctuary”
Now Eilya Care Foundation comprises 115 students with an age range of 3–36 years and unites 28 diverse special needs under this one roof. And Turaab is one of its shining stones, as through the years he has shown remarkable success to overcome this paucity of his, but by the time he is a lot calmer and more independent.
